Our Healthcare Services
Our dietitian and expert nutritionists are here to recommend the best food choices to aid and assist your overall health and wellness. Our registered dietitian will work with you to develop an individualised nutritional plan and provide the knowledge you need to achieve your health goals. As a Registered Dietitian, Kristen also knows that many times health issues are not strictly about food, but also about environment and lifestyle – and she will help you look at those factors.
Kristen is specially trained in the benefits of nutrition to support your body functionality and health. If you have particular health conditions or allergies, she will provide guidance and education on how to make healthy changes and lifestyle choices to best support your medical needs and improve your health.
Kristen uses evidenced-based Medical Nutrition Therapy to address many of the health issues you may be facing. She is also part of the Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine practice group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She, therefore, uses an integrated and much more personalised approach to nutrition, health, and healing. This can help her analyse some of the issues you are facing in a new and more comprehensive way.
The Ideal Protein (“IP”) Diet is a medically designed and professionally supervised wellness protocol dispensed only by healthcare professionals. Developed by Dr.Tran Tien Chanh, an award winning graduate of the Faculty of Medicine in Paris, he was a general practitioner and sport physician that trained athletes in France over 20 years ago before using his knowledge to develop the 4 phase, low carbohydrate, moderate protein, ketogenic weight management solution that is consistent with evidence based guidelines for long-term weight loss management. It is muscle-sparing and fat targeting that on average, women will lose 2-3 pounds per week and men will lose 4-7 pounds per week (without exercise or with the option of light exercise). The IP Diet has a set beginning and an end – not only will you lose weight and get healthier, but you will also learn how to keep it off for life. Thru your journey the Protocol incorporates ongoing one-on-one coaching, customized lifestyle guidance tools, access to educational, inspirational and interactive resources to create a plan that is focused to maintain healthy long-term results.
